When I first started at our little shop spinning and weaving were the furthest thing from my mind.  When asked if we wanted a weaving loom that had been found at Dunaskin Railway I jumped at the offer.  Not realising what I was about to put myself through.

The weaving loom was OLD and in pieces and NO instructions how to put it together.

Eventually  worked that out and then realised, I didn’t have a clue what to do next. So bought books, googled, you tubed until my eyes started to bleed and finally got my first piece of warp on the loom.

Since then I have not looked back and have found myself hooked on this amazing craft.
